Μπορεί πως το PS3, αν ήταν άνθρωπος, να τελείωνε την πρώτη τάξη του γυμνασίου καθώς είναι δεκατριών ετών κονσόλα και είναι πολύ ενθαρρυντικό να βλέπουμε ότι υποστηρίζεται ακόμα από τη Sony. Αν και το PS5 είναι προ των πυλών, το PS3 λοιπόν έλαβε το Software Update 4.86 ή αλλιώς Firmware Update, όπως θέλετε πείτε το, χωρίς να διαφοροποιεί κάτι ιδιαίτερο εμφανισιακά αλλά να αναφέρεται στα logs του update ότι βελτιώνει την ποιότητα και την απόδοση του συστήματος.
