Μπορεί το Galaxy Fold, το πρώτο αναδιπλούμενο smartphone της Samsung, να μην έχει κυκλοφορήσει ακόμα αλλά η εταιρεία έχει ήδη στείλει κάποια κομμάτια σε reviewers πριν την επίσημη κυκλοφορία που αναμένεται να γίνει στα τέλη Απριλίου.
Πιθανόν η εταιρεία να αναθεωρήσει την ημερομηνία κυκλοφορίας αφού πολλοί reviewers κάνουν παράπονα για χαλασμένες οθόνες στις συσκευές που έχουν στα χέρια τους! Ενώ αρχικά οι εντυπώσεις τους ήταν πολύ καλές και είχαν να πουν μόνο καλά λόγια για το ιδιαίτερο αυτό smartphone, λίγες ημέρες μετά άρχισαν τα προβλήματα. Και αναφερόμαστε σε προβλήματα που καταστρέφουν την οθόνη, κάνοντας τη συσκευή πρακτικά άχρηστη. Όπως θα δείτε και από τις εικόνες και τα βίντεο που ακολουθούν τα οποία ανέβασαν οι ίδιοι οι reviewers, πρόβλημα προκαλείται ακόμα και όταν κάποιος προσπαθήσει να βγάλει την μεμβράνη προστασίας που έχουν τα Fold από το εργοστάσιο.
Η Samsung από την πλευρά της έβγαλε ανακοίνωση αναφέροντας ότι λίγες αναφορές τους ήρθαν για προβλήματα στην οθόνη από τις μονάδες που στάλθηκαν για review και ότι θα επιθεωρήσουν τις μονάδες αυτές για να δούνε ποια είναι η αιτία του προβλήματος. Επιπλέον, αναφέρεται διεξοδικά στο γεγονός ότι δεν πρέπει να αφαιρείται το προστατευτικό φιλμ και ότι είναι λογικό να δημιουργηθεί πρόβλημα στην οθόνη αν συμβεί κάτι τέτοιο! Φυσικά, αυτή η οδηγία δεν είχε δοθεί στους reviewers. Παρακάτω είναι η επίσημη ανακοίνωση αλλά και οι αναρτήσεις όσων είχαν πρόβλημα με τις συσκευές τους.
A limited number of early Galaxy Fold samples were provided to media for review. We have received a few reports regarding the main display on the samples provided. We will thoroughly inspect these units in person to determine the cause of the matter.
Separately, a few reviewers reported having removed the top layer of the display causing damage to the screen. The main display on the Galaxy Fold features a top protective layer, which is part of the display structure designed to protect the screen from unintended scratches. Removing the protective layer or adding adhesives to the main display may cause damage. We will ensure this information is clearly delivered to our customers.

PSA: There’s a layer that appears to be a screen protector on the Galaxy Fold’s display. It’s NOT a screen protector. Do NOT remove it.

The phone comes with this protective layer/film. Samsung says you are not supposed to remove it. I removed it, not knowing you’re not supposed to (consumers won’t know either). It appeared removable in the left corner, so I took it off. I believe this contributed to the problem. pic.twitter.com/fU646D2zpY
