Σύμφωνα με το λογαριασμό Oops Leaks του twitter η Naughty Dog έχει έτοιμο το σενάριο του The Last of Us III. Η συγκεκριμένη σελίδα έχει αποκαλύψει διάφορα gaming news και στο παρελθόν. Οι αναφορές κάνουν λόγο για ένα Multiplayer The Last Of Us game στα χνάρια του Escape From Tarkov, ενώ εντύπωση προκαλεί ότι το συγκεκριμένο παιχνίδι θα είναι free to play αρχικά σε PS5 και στη συνέχεια σε PC. Εν συνεχεία τα leaks αναφέρουν ότι η Naughty Dog έχει ξεκινήσει τη δημιουργία ενός νέου IP χωρίς όμως να ασχολείται το μεγάλο κεφάλι της εταιρείας. Τέλος γίνονται αναφορές για το σενάριο του The Last of Us III το οποίο όπως δείχνει είναι έτοιμο. Αυτό που όμως δεν έχει ξεκινήσει είναι το developing του τίτλου. The game is a flagship PS live service title that will probably be the first of ten that are planned to be released. I expect it to be announced within this year with a release in early 2023, this is just my guess.
