Τα The Game Awards τα είχαν όλα. Εκπλήξεις, συγκινήσεις αλλά και κάποια…βραβεία, όπως λέει και το όνομα τους, τα οποία και απονεμήθηκαν στους νικητές των κατηγοριών τους.
Αυτό που ξεχωρίζει, είναι ότι το God of War στέφθηκε ως το παιχνίδι της χρονιάς, με πολλούς να μην το περιμένουν, αφού το Red Dead Redemption 2 θεωρούνταν το μεγάλο φαβορί, ενώ το πόνημα της Rockstar, δεν τα πήγε και άσχημα και πήρε “σπίτι” 4 βραβεία, έναντι 3 του God of War. Fortnite, Dead Cells, Forza Horizon 4, Astro Bot, Monster Hunter: World, Dragon Ball FighterZ, πήραν επίσης μεταξύ άλλων βραβεία για ξεχωριστές κατηγορίες το κάθε ένα.
